Romanian Bioinformatics Cluster Co-authors F1000Research Article on Bioinformatics Education

The Romanian Bioinformatics Cluster (CRB) is pleased to announce its contribution as a co-author to the scientific article “Strengthening bioinformatics education: e-learning initiatives across ELIXIR Nodes and Communities”, recently published in the journal F1000Research.

The article, coordinated by ELIXIR, provides a comprehensive overview of e-learning and training initiatives developed across ELIXIR Nodes and Communities throughout Europe. It highlights best practices, challenges, and collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening bioinformatics education. Romania is included among the contributing countries, offering CRB valuable visibility in its role as an ELIXIR Observer member.

CRB’s participation in this publication reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing bioinformatics education and capacity building at the national level.

Through its involvement in ELIXIR-led initiatives, CRB continues to focus on:

  • developing and supporting the Romanian bioinformatics community,
  • strengthening and promoting free, high-quality training resources,
  • fostering international collaboration within the ELIXIR infrastructure.

We are proud to contribute to this collective European effort and to represent Romania in initiatives that shape the future of bioinformatics education.
